2012 SOJ May Commencement RSVP

To allow us to properly plan for the P.I. Reed School of Journalism’s 2012 May Commencement ceremony, all candidates planning to attend the ceremony are required to complete this online RSVP form. May 2012 and August 2012 graduates are invited to participate.

Due to limited seating and safety concerns, this WILL BE A TICKETED EVENT . Only those who complete the RSVP form by the deadline will have access to tickets once they are ready for distribution.

Special Notes to Graduates and Guests:

About Tickets for This Event: Due to the continued growth of our Commencement ceremony, we will be issuing a limited number of guest tickets per graduate. Based on the number of responses to this RSVP, we will determine ticket availability per graduate. Only graduates who complete this online RSVP form will receive information about and a link to the online ticketing system where they will claim and print their tickets. Guests must have these tickets to enter the ceremony. Watch your email and SOJ eNews for additional information.

Accommodations for Guests and Graduates with Disabilities: Special seating is available for guests with physical limitations, as well as guests requiring the services of interpreters on the platform. Please contact the Office of Disability Services to request seating accommodations: 304-293-6700. WVU Gold & Blue Ambassadors will also be on hand at the ceremony to assist with special needs.

Webcast Available: The School’s Commencement ceremony is reserved for graduation candidates and their families. The public may view the live webcast of the ceremony at http://journalism.wvu.edu. A link will be provided at a later date.
